Let there be light: Streetlighting repaired on Rouge Lane

I’m pleased to confirm that street lighting has been returned to the entirety of Rouge Lane. Since the lights first went out due to an underground cable fault, I have been working with our Highways Officers at KCC to get these repairs made. Thank you to the many residents who got in touch to express their concerns over safety.

Significant excavation work was required to complete this repair and I would like to thank Windmill Hill residents for persevering with the lack of lighting and subsequent road closures.
